Books are such wonderful things.

Once again, they salvaged me from drowning in the well of deep confusion. They brought me a mirror to show me the mistakes I just made. No masking, no exaggeration, no games, only screaming the harsh truth between lines and pages.

People are reading less and less. People on average have much shorter attention spans. Technology is offering more noise and distraction than ever. Ok I see that things are transforming. But how is that going to change our thoughts and growth?

Nietzsche noted “from arguments to aphorisms, from thoughts to puns, from rhetoric to telegram style.” over a century ago after he invested in a typewriter. How do we look at machines' impact on us today? I think about it all the time but don't have a good answer.
