A new technique

a Prussian blue outline encloses and dissociates the colors. Figures and objects represent a schematic and nonrealistic vision as in stained-glass windows... Discard reality through the use of arbitrary colors; Formulate a very personal interpretation of things perceived.

"A word of advice: Don't copy too much from nature. Art is an abstraction: derive it from nature by dreaming in her presence and think more of the creation rather than the actual results."

--Gauguin
